In this work, it is intentended that the a filtering technique known as Inverse Filtering (see Cazzolato et al.) be investigated for its implementation into an underwater acoustic multiple input / multiple output communications channel in an attempt to increase the datarate possible through the system. This work involves the experimental testing of the filter performance, optimisation, and adaption based on using system identification techniques.
